How can we stand by and watch as this is done to these poor helpless, sweet animals and pets who simply could not find a new loving home fast enough?

What is the difference between killing people and killing animals?!?!?!?! we are all living creatures-both can love, both afraid to feelthe same- pain and suffering, so tell me what is theDIFFERENCE!!????!!?
